ANCESTORS
The genealogy of the Armesto Family in Texas started with
Antonio Mier Armesto being admitted to the United States on July 10, 1921 at Laredo, Texas as an immigrant for permanent residence under
Sec. 328(b) Nationality Act of 1940 and has been registered under the Alien Registration Act of 1940, Registration Number 2 920 593.
The purpose of this family tree is to allow family members to
easily figure out how we are all related. It is in no way meant
to embarrass anyone if they have been married more than once or
had children out of wedlock. We don't care how many times you
have been married or if you did not legally marry, but we hope
you did find happiness in your life. Life is short, so make the
best of life while you can.
We have searched genealogy records (Vital Records such
as Social Security Indexes and Marriage Indexes) and now that
they have come online it will be easier to find information.
But the easiest way to get information is from the family
members themselves. If a family member can submit information,
please do so and we will correct the family tree as we receive that
new information.
For now we have placed married in front of all spouses/partners
with whom you who have had children. We know some family members
do not care to put all their spouses/partners on the tree, but
for genealogical purposes this is how we are going to place
information:
- If a marriage certificate exists, we will put married and
that spouse will automatically be included on the tree
regardless if you had children or not
- If no legal document exists but there are children involved
that partner will automatically be included on the tree but
you can decide whether to put the term married or partner
- If a legal document exists that makes your living together
legal in the eyes of the law, that person will be included
and you can decide whether to put the term married or partner
- Additionally, if your spouse or partner has been previously
married and/or has children, you can decide to add their
previous partners or spouses and/or add the children. We do
not want any children who you are raising to feel left out
of the family tree. We want them to feel that they are family
whether they are legally adopted or not.
